StellOps

Terms of sale

Translation of the French version of October 11, 2026. The French version prevails.

Article 1Provider

Thomas Richardson, sole proprietor (EI), trading as StellOps, SIRET 923 582 258 00029, 107 boulevard Lefebvre, 75015 Paris, France, thomas@stellops.com, +33 6 29 32 61 93. VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French Tax Code.

Article 2Scope

These terms apply to website creation services and to the StellOps monthly plan, entered into with business clients. They prevail over any other document from the client.

Article 3Quote and order

Quotes are valid for 30 days. The order is firm upon receipt of the deposit, which constitutes acceptance of the quote and of these terms, or upon signature of the quote.

Article 4Services

The content of the service is as described in the quote: a custom website presenting the client’s business (home, services, work, reviews, service area, contact), a qualifying request form with delivery by email or SMS and a confirmation email to the requester, basic local search optimisation (SEO, AEO, GEO), SSL certificate, anti-spam protection, backups, hosting and a domain name free for the first year. Any request outside this scope is quoted separately.

Article 5Timing and approval

StellOps puts a first version online within 3 working days of receiving the deposit and a complete information form. Two rounds of changes are included. Without feedback from the client within 15 days of a version being presented, it is deemed approved.

Article 6Client obligations

The client provides accurate information (including, where applicable, certifications, insurance and service areas) and guarantees holding the rights to the content provided (logo, photos, texts).

Article 7Price and payment

Prices in euros, VAT not applicable (art. 293 B of the French Tax Code). 50% deposit on order; 50% balance on approval, before going live. The domain name is free for the first year. Secure online payment via Stripe. Each payment generates an invoice sent by email. No discount for early payment. Late payment incurs penalties at three times the French legal interest rate and a fixed recovery fee of €40 (art. L441-10 of the French Commercial Code).

Article 8StellOps monthly plan (€49/month, optional)

Includes: up to 2 change requests per month (texts, photos, opening hours, services; excluding new pages), technical updates, uptime and security monitoring, backups, anti-spam protection, local search follow-up, annual domain renewal, priority WhatsApp support. No commitment: cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current month. The plan starts at go-live: the first month is paid with the balance, then payment is automatic each month on the same date. Without the plan, the site stays online and requests keep arriving by email.

Article 9Domain name

The domain name is chosen by the client and registered in their name. It is free for the first year. Its renewal is included in the monthly plan. Without the plan, it is at the client’s expense; StellOps transfers domain management to the client free of charge on request.

Article 10Hosting

Hosting is provided free of charge. If StellOps ceases trading, the client is notified at least 60 days in advance and receives the files of their site.

Article 11Intellectual property

After full payment, StellOps assigns to the client, exclusively, the economic rights (reproduction, representation, adaptation) to the creations made specifically for them (design, written texts, logo), worldwide and for the legal duration of the rights, for any use related to their business. Site files are delivered on request after full payment. StellOps retains ownership of its tools, generic components and know-how, which the client may use under a non-exclusive licence for their site. Unless the client refuses in writing, StellOps may cite the work as a reference.

Article 12Personal data

For requests received through the site’s form, the client is the data controller and StellOps acts as processor (art. 28 GDPR): StellOps processes this data only to pass it on to the client, on their instructions, protects it, never resells it and deletes it at the end of the relationship. The technical providers used (hosting, email delivery, payment) are disclosed on request. StellOps provides the client with a template legal notice and privacy policy for their site.

Article 13Liability

StellOps has an obligation of means. Improved local visibility is an objective; no specific position in Google or AI assistant results is guaranteed, as these results depend on external factors. StellOps’s liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the service concerned.

Article 14Off-premises contracts

If the contract is concluded outside StellOps’s premises (for example at the client’s) with a business employing 5 people or fewer and for a purpose outside its main activity, the client has a 14-day withdrawal period (art. L221-3 and L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). If they expressly ask for the service to start before the end of this period, they remain liable for the work carried out in the event of withdrawal.

Article 15Governing law

French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties first seek an amicable solution; failing that, the courts with jurisdiction over StellOps’s registered office have jurisdiction.
